G W Robinson Dead In Murray Community
G W Robinson a pioneer of Murray died of pneumonia at his home after thirty five years residency. He was buried at Tyra cemetery, his funeral led by Rev Joseph Chunn. He leaves an aged wife and three sons, all at the family home.

Fry Forgery Case Set February 20 in Wichita Falls
Another forgery case against E. W. Fry former county judge of Young County is set for February 20 in the 78th district court in Wichita Falls. Judge W. E. Fitzgerald will be special judge as Judge Edgar Scurry is disqualified for having represented Fry earlier. Fry has about 50 indictments pending with two trials ending in conviction and one acquittal. one conviction was reversed. Fry remains at liberty on appeal bond living in Sweetwater.
