McCarver McCain & Co. issues a cash only notice to settle accounts. An election will be held at the R G Graham Drove business office in Graham Texas on the first Monday in January 1894 from 10 am to 4 pm to elect seven directors for 1894. Dec 4 1893. R Jerreny, President. R Gi Graham, Secretary Treasurer.
The notice urges unsettled accounts at J B Norris Hardware Co and links to a collection agency in Beckham Bank Building. It also advertises Draughon’s Business College with bookkeeping claims and positions, plus cheap board and year-round sessions in Nashville Tennessee.
Stewart Bros of Gertrude Lost Valley offer a large lot of Thoroughbred shorthorn calves combining milk and beef lines. Prices are reasonable to help stock men obtain blooded animals without risk in transfer and acclimation of Northern bred stock.

The body met in adjourned session on the 20th with road work and scalp reports noted. The court toured the McCan bride site on Thursday and approved most work except earth and stone on the west approach. Juries of view were named to lay out public roads to the bridge and the court adjourned to January 5 expecting formal receipt of the bridge from Mr Horton.
The Weatherford Mineral Wells and Northwestern Railway offers round trip tickets at one and one third fare with selling dates from December 22 to January 1. Tickets are valid for return through January 2, 1894, with connections to Santa Fe and T P trains at Weatherford.

Mr Harrell shot two deer in one night at a local tank last Thursday. Mr Crawford died suddenly at Eliasville last week, after a long illness misdiagnosed as slow fever. Dr Price of Eliasville treated him and knew his case, but death came on December 23 1893.

James Fugatt Jr. died December 17 after six weeks illness, with burial in the local graveyard. A local market seeks 5000 bushels of wheat with payment at fifty cents per bushel in trade or on account until further notice. Farmers urged to deliver good quality grain to secure the quoted price.

In Wallace and Wallace's siloon last Saturday night Tom Birdwell was cut with a knife during a disorder with Joe Wright who was arrested and searched. no weapon found on him but a small knife on the floor. Birdwell was treated by Dr Geo LeGrand and is recovering. Wright posted bond to face a county court charge of aggravated assault and battery.
