A joint installation with the Woodmen ladies and a banquet are planned.
Last Monday Graham held trade day with auctioneer C. L. Lindsey in good voice selling several horses on the square. A large crowd attended as the event continues to grow in interest.

Monk Gibson, the African American man charged with killing the Conditt family near Edna, Texas, is on trial in San Antonio. A large crowd of witnesses attends as the case heats up, with two lawyers appointed by the court to defend him.
The ad proclaims that Chamberlain's Cough Remedy contains no opium or harmful drugs and has a 30 year reputation for curing colds croup and whooping cough. It emphasizes safety for children and pleasant taste with universal druggist sale.
A vintage grocery ad offers olives pickles cheeses cranberries pumpkin potatoes and fresh fruit plus Barrels of sour and sweet pickles durkee and tabasco sauces olive oil and dried fruits. East Texas cane syrup and assorted nuts candies cereals flour and oatmeal complete the display.
The fifth Sunday program with Tank Valley Baptist Church begins Thursday December 28, 1905 at 7 p m. It lists topics and speakers including sermons on salvation and church duties, collectibles for Buckner Orphans Home, and missionary services led by J L Roach and J H Longan.
Harry Colson of Magonville Indiana writes that Bucklen's Arnica Salve is the best cure for piles including bleeding itching and protruding. The salve is also effective for cuts burns and injuries and costs 25 cents at B. E. Doty druggist.
In Kufala Alabama G E Huntington proclaims Hunt's Lightning Oil the most useful and valuable household remedy for cuts burns sprains and insect bites, asserting it has no equal based on his extensive experience.
Last Thursday a Dr Morris the town dog ran amuck attacking many dogs leading to killings as crowds chased it down. Rev Edwin Hamner and Mrs M Briscoe narrowly escaped bites. Mayor Simpson ordered all dogs chained muzzled or killed for twenty one days from December 12.
Health is good with a few colds. J W Harrell and family of Ranger visited here. C V Connor and wife went to Graham. C D Coon and family plan Bradily I T for their future home. Tom Collier and family moved to Salt Creek near Graham after renting a farm. Mr and Mrs N F Boozier visited their daughter Mrs O D Coon. Dessie Weaver visited Myrtle and Hattie Fickling. Jim Allen of Ivan rents part of Andrew Irvin’s farm. J L Smith went to Graham. Mayes of Graham works on South Bend Eliasville road. Jim Wadley of Lower Tank Valley bought cattle from Mrs S S Payne and others. Jim Douglas and daughter Lou visited Mrs Cross Barron. Andrew Irvin and grandson Eddie went to Graham. Will Copeland hauled cotton seed cake from Graham. Rev R G Fickling preached at 11 Sunday and will preach every second ever. Every one invited. OUQUET.
Annual meeting of the shareholders of the Beckham National Bank will be held at the bank in Graham on Tuesday January 9 1906 to elect a Board of Directors for the ensuing year. S. R. Crawford presides.
Horace McCuistion and Vista Eagle eloped Thursday night, left Olney about 9:30, married in Archer City around 3:00 Wednesday morning, then began a honeymoon with relatives in eastern counties. They first signaled with a whistle to Whitewright, while family and friends extend congratulations and best wishes.
The firm of Kidwell Cooper and Company is dissolved by mutual agreement. H L Mitchell retires and the remaining partners L B Kidwell and W J A Cooper form Kidwell and Cooper. The new firm assumes all liabilities and collects notes and accounts due to the former firm in Graham Texas on December 12 1905.
An advertisement urges readers with a cough cold or chest soreness to use Simmon's Cough Syrup claiming it will cure immediately and act as a balm for sore lungs. It presents a strong medical claim without evidence.
