Ford Daily Output Reaches 6907 Cars and Trucks
Ford Motor Company production in Detroit reaches 6907 cars and trucks in eight hours on Friday July 27. Domestic Assembly Branches now produce four times the output of the entire first year. The daily record surpasses the prior high of 6884 set on June 30 by 23 units. In the first year the company built 1708 vehicles, making last Friday’s total 75 more than four times that figure and 1905 more than the initial year.
