Texas County Court Docket Sees Aggravated Assault Pleas
Last week in the County Court the State of Texas charged Cone Walker with aggravated assault with a $50 fine and 30 days in jail. Spurge Statum faced similar charges with a $25 fine and 30 days in jail and notice of appeal. Cle Herndon pleaded guilty to carrying a pistol with a $100 fine. a bootlegging case against Herndon was dismissed.

Large Crowd Here Monday At Trades Day
A sizable crowd filled the streets from 10 am to 5 pm for Trades Day with heavy livestock trading and farmers selling poultry and eggs at top prices. Bronco riding drew a late crowd and many new automobiles parked on sidewalks surprised observers. Merchants Day is expected next Monday if weather stays favorable.
Wynns Return From Fort Worth After Medical Treatment
Mr and Mrs C S Wynns returned Monday night from Fort Worth where he had been for several weeks of medical treatment. He was considerably improved but not able to resume his duties at the depot.

Mrs J W Hudson formerly Miss Laura A Fisher died at her Granbury home after three weeks illness. Body shipped to Graham and buried at Oak Grove cemetery Tuesday. Funeral at First Baptist Church conducted by Rev Albertson and Rev J R Reynolds. She leaves husband two brothers John Fisher and Gus Fisher and three sisters Mrs M Jones Mrs Tom Offill and Miss Blanche Fisher. Born Collinsville 1884 came to Graham 1900, married Oct 31 1914. The Leader extends sympathy.

Graham Hosts Visiting Clergy and New Pastor

Mrs. W. A. Ribble Dies After Illness in Fort Worth
Mrs. W A Ribble died at All Saints Sanitarium in Fort Worth after gallstone surgery two weeks earlier. A resident of this region most of her life, she was 55, a First Baptist member, wife and mother. Funeral services were held at 11 o'clock yesterday, with interment at Gooseneck Cemetery. Surviving are her husband three daughters and two sons.

Oil drilling push as machinery arrives for Grahm well
North American Refining Company superintendent R. D. Brown and assistants from Oklahoma City arrived to supervise the installation of drilling equipment on W. M. Goode's property in Graham. A carload of piping and a carload of tools have arrived, with derricks erected and work expected to begin soon. Three drilling outfits may run concurrently as plans include a well on J. K. P. Hughes and resumed activity at the Corbett ranch once water supply issues are solved.
