In the Flats near the Cuyahoga River two masked men robbed Heights Savings and Loan before noon. They used two automobiles in the stickup, abandoning one car at the scene. A teller aged 62 and George 72, vice president of the bank, were identified among the victims.
Three New Physicians from Brooklyn presented priscol as a fast safe relief for infantile paralysis at the New York State Medical Society meeting. They reported it reduced pain cramping and spasm in early polio stages and noted successful use on about 120 patients last year at Kingston Avenue Hospital. The drug is available in oral or injectable forms.

A trailer truck struck a car and a Mount Hope High School bus on U S Route 21 near Mount Hope, injuring four people including 12 year old Joan Front of Price Hill. Bus occupants and car passengers from Prosperity sustained minor injuries, while truck driver Charles Holland cited brake failure.
Harvey Quesenberry aged 52 of Clarksburg RFD 3 was killed when struck by an automobile on U S Route 50 about eight miles west of Clarksburg. The driver told state police the man apparently stepped into the roadway. No charges were filed.
