Mrs. Dorothy Lee Cheng wife of Dr James Cheng formerly private physician to Generalissimo Chiang Kai shek will speak at the 730 p m worship service at Andrews Methodist church announced by Rev Arta P Shomo. She is the only Chinese graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College and was married the day of her graduation. The Chengs long pursued Christian service and expect to return to China this year. A Fellowship Hour will follow the service.

Little James Lyle Mutter aged 23 months, son of Lyle and Margaret Readd Mitter of Newburg Route 2, died Tuesday at the home of Biddie Readd in Tunnelton. Born March 24 in Tunnelton, he is survived by parents and one brother Donald Lee. Funeral Friday at 2 p.m. from Shay's chapel with Rev. W. J. Kerr officiating. Interment in Shay cemetery under Knotts Funeral home direction.

Grain and potato markets show price gains over last year
A survey on feed grains and produce notes higher current prices than last year. Corn grades rose from 1.62 to 2.36 per bushel in Chicago, and Minneapolis oats moved from 0.86–0.89 to 1.26–1.29. Idaho Russet Burbank potatoes sold at 5.65–5.90 in Chicago, against 3.45–3.50 year ago, while eggs advanced from 0.475–0.48 to about 0.525 per dozen.

Rites Yesterday In Tunnelton For Mrs Celia Emmons
Funeral services were held in the Tunnelton Methodist church for Mrs. Celia Emmons of Vestal New York formerly of Tunnelton who died in a Binghamton hospital. The Rev. W T Kerr officiated and interment followed in Camp Ground cemetery. Born June 20 1883 in Aurora she was a daughter of Joseph Young and Nacey E Teets Young. She lived in Tunnelton for many years then moved to Binghamton about 12 years ago. Her husband Ralph S Emmons survives along with children Mrs. Robert M Scott Mrs. Raymond L Jones and Mrs. Clarence E Miller of Vestal New York.
