Martin T. Manton former senior Judge of the U S Circuit Court of Appeals was indicted on conspiracy to defraud the government by a special grand jury. George M. Spector an insurance agent and former representative of Archie M. Andrews also charged. Indictment carries up to six years in prison and 30000 fine. Manton resigned after a Dewey accusation of accepting loans from interested parties. He is now in hospital.
