In an interview Clarkburg Telegram correspondent John K Burdett, Mayor P P Gillispie said he would again advocate driving the liquor store out of Grafton to keep the city powder dry. He supports a state liquor tax proposal routed by the legislature and argues police work correlates with liquor sales, urging the state to divert proceeds without hurting the state.
