Ex convict Kent to face life term in fatal shooting
Kent confessed to placing a .32 caliber pistol by Hall and firing the shot that killed him. Police found the gun, Hall’s watch and ring in Kent’s possession after the body was dumped in a roadside ditch near Lainsburg. Kent was taken from Grand Rapids to East Lansing for questioning and arraignment in St Johns. he said he expected to receive life in prison.
