Angelo Forcello who runs a Latrobe street restaurant and soft drink business created a disturbance after a stranger accused him of selling beer. Police and the mayor intervened and he promised to behave, turning the incident into a local commotion about Bevo.
A crowd of friends and relatives gathered in the city to attend the Mc Quilkin Jones nuptials at the bride’s home on Maple Avenue West Side. Mrs Myrtle Bebout entertained many friends at her Beed Street home Monday evening in honor of Miss Agnes Crone of Pittsburg Muere. Refreshments and a pleasant time were enjoyed by all present, including Agnes Crone Nettie Preiss Rose Manning Boss Dougherty Nellie Jackson Lilian Gray Elizabeth and Anna Kenny.

The youngster, daughter of Mr and Mrs Tom L Shuttlesworth, impressed by a Sentinel drawing, produced a notable pixel recreation described as excellent and comparable to the original.
Mr. J Bart Lilly, long time shoe repairer in the city, will depart for Memphis Tennessee soon where he has secured a position with a large sewing machine company. Lilly brings wide experience in the sewing machine business and is expected to succeed in Memphis.
In a plea for civic unity Grafton is urged to shed envy and rally for progress. The piece argues public sentiment, not wealth, fuels growth and cites congressional moves to fund a new post office and related West Virginia city projects, with key support from Senator Scott and Rep. Sturgiss.
Richwood reports the death of John Kean 22 a fireman on locomotive No 66 fatally crushed while under the engine at 8 20 am after train crew moved cars down a grade. He died at 1 30 pm after removal and medical aid failed. Kean lived with parents near town and was well liked.
Mrs Harriet Poe returned from Baltimore with her son B F Poe and daughter Lucy after eye examination plans were postponed. Doctors advise against operation or treatment now, hoping for improved health to allow travel and care later this year. Mrs E J Shaughnessy and her daughters Mildred and Genevieve arrived from Philadelphia to visit relatives and attend local events.
Bruce Rosier, known as a bigamist, was taken to Parkersburg today by Wood county constable Gay. He faces grand jury scrutiny over the bigamy charge after his earlier arrest for illicit relations with Miss Mounts of Parkersburg, who later produced his marriage certificate.
At Court House tonight at o'clock Roy B Naylor secretary of the State Board of Trade and W Alfred Wilson treasurer will speak along with other board members. Admission is free and the event invites neighbors and friends to hear eager speeches promising insight and local hospitality in Grafton.
Major Brewer of the Seventh Cavalry discusses Indian beliefs in medicine men and the Messah shirt, recalling Wounded Knee and Apache experiences. He notes Indians misled by medicine men, recounts a Biograph show with an Apache chief reacting to machines, and cites Herrmann’s tricks at Chicago with Colonel Cody’s outfit, illustrating white and native perspectives.
A baby boy arrives at the home of Attorney and Mrs. Jed W Robinson on McGraw avenue this morning. Mrs. Robinson, formerly Miss Sallie Poe of the city, receives congratulations from numerous friends.
