SPENCER June 22 A 11year-old Calhoun county farm boy was killed today and another injured by lightning that struck a tree where they sheltered during a storm. The fatal bolt killed Leonard Parsons son of a tenant farmer on Allie Hardman’s property and injured Bude Rogers who escaped due to rubber soled shoes. Both boys were working in a hay field when the storm struck.

Dr Peck Testifies in Weaver Slaying Trial
