W R Loar Photographic Studio Established in Grafton

W R Loar runs a long established photographic business at 117 119 W Main Street with over thirty years of experience. The owner moved from a Bradahaw building studio in 1902 and built the present headquarters. Jones reunion sets Knottsville West Virginia Aug 28

Held at Knottsville the Jones family reunion committee decided yesterday to host the annual gathering in Knottsville West Virginia on August 28. The family has held reunions for years with previous sites including Muncie Indiana in 1906 and Kingsville Canada in 1905. A big Fourth of July celebration is planned at Newman’s Grove under the Independence Sunday Schools auspices with a picnic and invited groups including the Odd Fellows Woodmen of the World and Grand Army.

In Mayor McClang's police court J. M. Willison faced charges of drunkenness and selling goods on a street without a license. He was fined tea and coats but unable to pay was sent to the street. Haines faced fighting and contempt charges and paid fines of two and coats for fighting and five for contempt.
