Boy Thought Drowned Back From Journey Morgantown
Nine year old Robert Corwin returned home from a two day absence after riding a freight train along the Monongahela river. He spent two nights in an open box car and slept on berries while living along the railroad right of way. He was found near Point Marion, Pa, by Mrs Elma Barone after being carried to the area by the freight train. He told of sheltering from rain with bathers, staying aboard as the train moved and fearing to jump.
