A former convict with a double barreled shotgun killed three people in a Chicago jazz venue early today. Witnesses identified the killer as 28 year old Lawrence Neumann, who shot two victims cowering for mercy and a newsboy who tried to stop him, before being gunned down on the sidewalk by police. Detective Paul Coleman notes the suspect was named by witnesses.
