Dr J H Snook Prepares To Die In Electric Chair Tonight
Dr James Howard Snook a 50 year old former Ohio State University professor faces execution for the murder of Miss Theora Hix after dinner tonight at the pen he will eat a last meal with his wife Mrs Snook Warden Thomas said the meal will be chicken and the condemned man will wear a tuxedo for the final hours as guards prepare to escort him to the death chamber shortly after 7 p.m. Relatives were allowed brief access and Mrs Snook requested privacy on death row. The warden indicated the time would fall between 7 and 8 p.m.

Trial opens in Gordon Blake case over fatal car crash
Gordon Blake aged 35 goes on trial for second degree murder in the Thornton wreck that killed L Dennett last September. State claims Blake was intoxicated and the driver.
