Seven drown when car plunges into flooded creek near Bradbury
A car with seven occupants, including Beb Pomeroy aged 18, sank in a Bradbury creek after missing a bridge on state route 125. The submerged sedan settled upright in the water, and a nearby resident, Mrs Emmett Lightfoot, heard the crash about 11:30 p.m. EST. The victims, not yet identified, include a man, four women, and two boys.
