George Washington Liner Docks After Two Storms
The United States liner George Washington docked at Hoboken after a stormy voyage from Queenstown. Captain A B Randall called it among the worst trips he has experienced on the Atlantic. Thirteen passengers suffered cuts and bruises as two giant waves struck the bow and beam, throwing travelers from seats and hurling furniture across the deck.
