Three Grafton High School athletes were uninjured when their 1939 Plymouth sedan overturned on Riverside Drive near the old Fetterman bridge Friday night at about 10:30. Oscar Adkins a 47 year old mine foreman for West Virginia Coal and Coke Co is charged with murder for the fatal shooting of his brother in law Audie Sannin 40. The shooting happened yesterday at Mine No 5 office. Sannin was shot five times. Adkins said he acted in self defense after Sannin threatened him and reached for a knife. A pocket knife was found by the body. Preliminary hearing not yet set. Sannin survived by his widow and daughter. Burial planned in Sandy Hook Kentucky.
