Taylor County boards appoint R. V. Rohrbough active superintendent to finish the fiscal year ending June 30. He replaces Lt. Col. E. Guy Kuhn who leaves January 19 for active duty with the Army. Induction Call Postponed For Taylor Barbour Counties
The Taylor Barbour Selective Service board postponed the December 15 induction for three Graf ton and Barbour county men until after December 27 by order of Mrs. Harold Weekly. Pfc McMullen’s Reinterment Set for Next Thursday
Pfc Richard Jay McMullen of Grafton, a World War II hero who fell in the Belgian Bulge on January 1, 1945, will be interred in the state’s National Cemetery next Thursday at 11 a.m. He was born February 18, 1918, and leaves a wife Mary and son Richard Ray Jr. Also surviving are a sister and four brothers. Army Honor Guard and local veterans groups will render military honors.
