Washington Irving Rowland a 77 year old retired Baltimore and Ohio railroad engineer died at City hospital after a midnight fall down stairs at his Maple Avenue home. He lived in Grafton most his life and retired in 1936. He was a member of First Presbyterian church Grat ton Lodge 15 A F and A M and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. He is survived by his wife daughter and two grandsons and a sister. Funeral services will be held at Bartlett Funeral home after 7 30 p m.
