In Clairstville Ohio December 8 Charles Kendall age 40 jumped into a pot of molten metal at Watt Mining Car Wheel Co plant in Barnesville. He suffered fatal injuries and attempts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful. Police are investigating the accident at the Barnesville works.

Mrs Earl Ward died this morning at 11 30 in the city from spinal trouble and pneumonia.
