Pittsburgh dispatch reports 59 year old Charles Davis, a negro, jailed on robbery and assault charges after a belt dropped at a holdup scene helped identify him by Freight Conductor Ernest Scholl. Scholl, 61, said Davis beat him with a gun butt near Collier, West Virginia, on November 18. Davis denies the charges. police traced the belt via relief agencies to his Pittsburgh home.
