Taylor native Clement Ross Jones, 68, dean emeritus of West Virginia University College of Engineering, died in Johns Hopkins Hospital after a yearlong illness. A Taylor county figure, he served WVU from 1895 and as engineering dean from 1912 to 1932, later remaining as part time instructor and advisor. He received numerous honors and held memberships in Beta Pi, Phi Beta Kappa, Rotary, and Sons of the Revolution, with high offices in several orders. Funeral Friday in Morgantown.
