Members of the Palo Alto County Federation of Women’s clubs met at Grachtinger High School assembly room on Saturday September 26. Hon W E G Saunders spoke on Politicians and The Policies For Which They Stand covering agriculture roads prohibition and the world court. He outlined sponsors and non sponsors and discussed the state situation and roads banks agriculture and women’s representation. The program included music and readings by Grachtinger talent.

Betty Hedrick an 11 year old daughter of Mr and Mrs H G Hedrick stole ninety dollars from Morrissey and Sons suburban grocery after noon hours. She had been in the theater and took cash from a drawer while counts show about seventy dollars on her person. Several checks torn to pieces and missing amounts cannot be determined. Hearing will be before the juvenile court judge as soon as possible. City officers prefer placing her in a church school for girls rather than Mitchellville. W H Buckwalter displayed a curiosity on the streets as water from his well near a cottonwood became inaccessible.
