Plans Completed for Rural Women's Day by Mrs Bert Rouse

On Monday afternoon August 31 the Farm Bureau Women's County Committee met at the County Extension Office with Mrs Wm Stillman presiding to complete plans for Rural Women's Day. The date is Monday September 21 with registration at 1 00 and program at 1 30. The Lutheran Church Emmetsburg two blocks north of Stop and Go Sign hosts the event. Theme is The First Wealth is Health and Dr Charles C Gripes of Des Moines will speak on mental health. There will be special music 4 H demonstrations and community singing with recognition and awards for publicity reading and score sheet winners.
