William Kelly Buried in Parochial Cemetery
Funeral for William Kelly, who died in an accident last week, was held at his home south of town then at the Catholic church, Father Kelly presiding, followed by burial in the parochial cemetery. Pallbearers were Mat and Michael Quinn, Mike Leonard, John Jackmin, George Miller, and James Fritzpatrick. He was born August 17 1896 in Emmet County and died aged 18 years 19 days. Survived by parents Mr and Mrs James J Kelly, six sisters Mary Lorettan Janet Sarah Slean Margaret, and one brother Paul. The Times offers sympathy to the bereaved family.

Old Emmet County settler Paul Paulson dies at home
One of Emmet county's oldest settlers Paul Paulson died last Thursday at his Wallingford area home after dinner while he and his brother Ole worked in the yard. Born February 5, 1853 in Hallingdal Norway, he came to the U S as a youth and lived in Benton county before settling in Emmet. He leaves a brother, a son and three sisters. funeral Sunday with Rev. J J Akre officiating at Wallingford cemetery.

Tragic buggy accident in Pocahontas County kills Mrs Aden
In Pocahontas County southeast of Pocahontas Center the Aden family rode in a buggy along the road near the Charles R Lewis place. A horse stepped into a hole, the buggy tipped, and Mrs Aden sustained a crushed skull. She died about an hour after reaching home despite medical aid. Clarence Rudolph was the driver. no one else was seriously hurt.

A 19 year old German worker perished when he slipped from a narrow gully bridge on the M and St L railroad sixty feet above a creek near Sioux Rapids. The accident occurred on the high bridge crossing a gulley and valley.

Bailey brothers buy 120 acre Minnesota farm at $60 per acre
