World at Our Feet columns on church talks and quirks
In a humorous column, the writer reflects on recent church events and social moments. He mentions a Methodist civil rights conference in Chicago with quotes from Dr. Martin Luther King and Dick Gregory, a Quaker meeting with audience participation, and a JFK-like figure delivered sermons. The piece also jokes about a 1345 sale bill and old items as auction curiosities, plus a light note on marriage.
