Graettinger Public Schools Open With Freshman Tuition Rise
Graettinger public schools opened with 164 in grades and 139 in high school enrollment. There are 24 new tuition pupils in the Freshman class and 23 beginners in the first grade. Governor Kraschel visited Graettinger area residents at the McCarty home during Labor Day, meeting local Democrats before departing for Estherville and Des Moines. Kathryn McCarty, statehouse employee, accompanied the governor to Des Moines in his plane.
