History of the Methodist Church and Building Progress
A long retrospective on the Methodist Church in town from its 1897 cornerstone through 1951. It recalls key figures Clarence C. George and Mrs E S George, the 1936 enlargement, 1941 re-incorporation, and 1940s Woman's Society of Christian Service. Plans, fundraising, and groundbreaking for a new church culminate in 1951 with construction progress, community efforts, and a message of future faith and leadership.
