Miss Bernice Alberta Tipp of Central City Iowa daughter of Mrs D C Tipp formerly of Graettinger was united in marriage Wednesday October 10 1917 to Mr Arthur Jones of that place They will make their future home at Central City They are at home to their many friends since the 20th The bride is one of the splendid young ladies of this city The Times extends greetings and best wishes to the newlyweds Also notes about local theatre manager Frank Mahara presenting Any Man's Sister at the Graettinger opera house and Fred Green leaving Graettinger for Oelwein to manage a lumber yard job.
John Quinn died this morning after a long illness. The funeral is set for Saturday at 10 AM at the Catholic church with interment in St. Jacob's cemetery. Full particulars to follow next week.
