Two unmasked bandits robbed and kidnapped N. D. Sloan, operator on the North Town pike, about 11 o clock in the morning. They escaped with $60 to $70, leaving Sloan bound in an outbuilding behind a school ten miles northwest. Sloan freed himself minutes later and sought help from a nearby farmhouse. the bandits in a light sedan were not found.
