Funeral held Monday at the Methodist church with Rev E F Broberg officiating. interment in Silver Lake cemetery. Survived by husband and children, plus siblings, with past moves from North Dakota to Washington and Sweden to the United States.

Damages Sought in Walsh Estate Suit in Emmetsburg
Joseph Reardon as administrator of the Joe Walsh estate filed a $10,000 damage suit in district court at Emmetsburg Monday against Alden Hermansen of Ruthven. Walsh, killed Sept 17 returning from Spencer Clay County Fair, was struck by Hermansen’s car on Highway 19 near the Little Sioux river bridge. Witnesses including a Spencer dealer and Sheriff Erickson testified. Hermansen and defendant witness Glen Jondghl were to appear today.
