Sheep buried by snow recovered after storm near Pier Son
During a storm a flock of prized sheep lay buried under six feet of snow. Owner Art Weinreich near Pierson and neighbor W Florke dug through the drift for two and a half hours to recover them. One ewe died and two were lodged in the creek, but are now recovering.
