Mrs Selmer Nelson Dies at 36 After Illness
Mrs Selmer Nelson of Fal-Inn died Saturday following pneumonia after a recent illness. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the house and Lost Island Lutheran Church, with Rev. M Mandinger officiating. Survived by husband Selmer and two daughters Carmen Elnora and Iva Eileen, plus three brothers and four sisters. The Nelsons had lived on farms in Iowa and Minnesota before settling near Scarville.

Mrs Myhre Dies in Des Moines After Illness
Mrs Martin Myhre of Calmar Town died mid Sunday at Town Lutheran hospital Des Moines after treatment for high blood pressure. Funeral services were held at the First Scandinavian Lutheran church with Rev Mundsager and Rev Sande officiating. Survived by husband Martin, children Arthur Merle Dorothy Serene, two brothers and many relatives. The community mourns her loss as a kind Christian neighbor active in local affairs.

Bobby Jensen Breaks Arm in Fall From Tree
Bobby Jensen son of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Jensen fractured both bones of his left arm Friday afternoon in a fall from a tree limb at his aunt's home near Wallingford. The injury is painful but the boy is progressing as well as expected and will be inconvenienced for some time. He has the sympathy of many little friends.

Chrysler And Ford In Crash Near Wallingford
Sunday night a Ford carrying Gordon Sandvig and Carl Elsenbust collided with a Chrysler driven by Milo Brown on the state road south of the Wallingford creamery. The Ford was badly damaged. the Chrysler’s left headlight and radiator damaged. Elsenbust cut over left eye. Sandvig fainted after the collision. Chrysler occupants uninjured.

Walter Waskow of Arlington won with 95.50, Frettem 95.25, and H W Harms of Gelwein 95. Frettem, new to Gracttinger after moving from Gowrie, is praised by directors for his selection. Couple travel 150 miles through North Dakota snow to Graettinger
