Pegum family and Mrs Caspire of Wallingford relocate to High Amana Town to set up their new home. Mr Pegum and Elizabeth Pegum leave by auto and Mrs Pegum with Mrs Caspire depart by train. Best wishes pour in from local friends. Legion Endorses Patriotic Program for Armistice Day activities hosted by Catholic Ladies Aid Society of Grietlnger on November 11.

The funeral for Oliver John Truesdell born in Ontario Canada March 6 1869 and died October 4 1928 in Graettinger Iowa was held Saturday at 1 30 pm in the M E Church with Rev C J Mekkelson officiating. He lived 77 years 7 months and 28 days and left a large family and community mourners.
Catholic Ladies Aid to hold annual bazaar at Hawkeye theatre next Wednesday with dinner and supper, afternoon sales, and a patriotic program from 1 30 to 8 30 pm followed by the 10 reel Griffith production America at 3 pm and 7 45 pm. The film centers on Nathan Holden and Nancy Montague with lavish settings, a noble lineage, and romantic intrigue. Also reports Osher store robbed in Terril and a public market sale planned at Graettinger on November 7 with livestock and household goods offered.
Big Dance Thursday November 19 conducted by H Horswell at Woodman hall with Van Note orchestra. Also plans a Thanksgiving dance November 26 with music by the Vecto Band. Armistice day notice asks Graettinger business men to close offices and stoves from 1 to 8 pm. A J Johnson, President of Community Club.
The 10 0 0 FF Judge group invites all to a public dance at their hall on Armistice night Wednesday November 11. Music will be provided by the Johnson orchestra.
QC C McAllister to sell his house and lots at auction next Saturday and depart by automobile for North Carolina where he plans to make his future home. He expects opportunities to be plentiful there though nothing definite is in view. Grachtinger friends regret his departure but offer best wishes for success.
C C McAlister will dispose of his house and two lots at public sale on Saturday November 7. The southeast town property is offered with one half down and the balance on easy terms. McAllister's display ad appears in this week’s Times.
Members of the Ladies Aid Society of the Norwegian Lutheran church plan a bazaar on the second floor of Woodman hall on Saturday afternoon November 7. A chicken pie supper will be served in the afternoon and evening along with pie cake and sandwiches. Everyone is cordially invited.
John Hansen purchased the C. A. Selee cream station and will take possession at the start of December. He will quit farming to devote full time to the business. Selee has been a buyer of poultry eggs and cream and has enjoyed a splendid business. The Times wishes success to all concerned.
New Radiana stoves add a stylish look and even heat distribution in Wiegmann Grocery and Burkhead Clothing. Jensen Hardware sold eight Ruadi ons this fall as Mr Jensen handled the purchases and eight Ruadi ons were disposed of this season. The Jack Creek Township Farm Bureau met at the Kruse home October 28 with a short play The Milk Converts performed by children. Officer slate elected includes Chairman J Bosold Vice Chairman Mrs O L Paugh and Secretary Treasurer J W Oakes.

Henry Hansen took first prize in the state buttermakers contest at Cedar Rapids this week. Ms and Mrs Hansen attended the convention. Graettinger is honored with another first, and Mr Hansen has won many prizes since moving to Fallow and later Graettinger. Congratulations extended.
