Graettinger Live Stock Shipping representatives attended the Emmetsburg gathering on Wednesday May 11 with speakers Messy Espe Thompson and Ames presenting county insights. The meeting noted a 20 percent increase in cooperative shipments this year through improved cooperation and logistics. County treasurer J J Martin recently received 2848.18 dollars from Palo Alto’s gas tax, with April funds due in June. Half funds go to county road fund and half to township road funds based on miles of township roads.
