Litter of eight spotted Poland China pigs and lambs noted

Public Hearings Planned on Graettinger Zoning Plan
The Zoning Commission of Graettinger Iowa will hold public hearings at the Town Hall on May 7 and May 14 1951 at 736 PM and 730 PM to consider a proposed Zoning Ordinance and Zone Plan Map. The map and preliminary report are on file with the Town Clerk for inspection and suggestions. The chair is Quinten H Jensen. Lost in fog on Mississippi River near Kingston
Frank Hutchcroft of Kingston became lost in fog on the Mississippi River and spent a night on the Illinois side. His relatives searched about 18 hours before he returned home the next day after boat and family members mounted a rescue effort.
