H N Osher longtime Graettinger merchant dies at one Tuesday morning after a week with rheumatism his heart weakened by the attack. Survived by wife son Norman W and four daughters Mrs Englund Muscatine Mrs Schooley Omaha Mrs Iarnest Jensen Lone Rock and Mrs Henningsen Graettinger funeral set for Friday at 12:80 p m with interment east of Wallingford.

The obituary notes S J Petersen who died Friday in Cedar Falls. Funeral services were at the Petersen home and Danish Lutheran church in South Walnut, with Rev H B Hansen presiding. Burial in South Walnut cemetery. Survived by wife and ten children. Petersen, born Denmark July 29 1836, came to the United States 1898. Country neighbors praised his industrious life and devotion to family. Mother’s Day observed May 10 by Bayent Teachers association. Ringsted Flyer Killed After Cleveland Landing
J Tinus Christiansen once of Ringsted or formerly of Ringsted pilot on mail air ship met death in Cleveland Ohio last Friday. He left early in fog and forced landing in the Cuyahoga river after engine trouble. The craft struck the bank and exploded. Christiansen perished in flames. A popular flyer with records for Omaha Chicago and Chicago New York flights. He resided in Ringsted for years and worked as a carpenter. His death is mourned by friends and admirers alike.
