John Hester Funeral Held in Emmetsboro
Local resident John Hester died Friday at Cherokee. Funeral service was Sunday at Emmetsboro with burial in St. John’s Cemetery. Mrs. Hester died in 1893. Mr. Hester never fully recovered after that illness, and friends extend sympathy to surviving relatives.

Buttermakers Hold Fine Meeting in Graettinger
A dozen buttermakers from Ros uth Emmet and Palo Alto counties met in Graettinger Tuesday at the creamery to discuss topics of interest. Accompanied by their wives they enjoyed a luncheon at the Henry Flansen home. The gathering was successful and they were loyally entertained.

Gravel Road For Fallow Creamery Area
A three mile stretch from the Fallow creamery east to the guttvelled roads is designated a secondary road and will be gravelled as soon as possible. The improvement will help farmers and creamery patrons as the route has been nearly impassable this spring. Supervisor Suss j has worked to include this stretch in the secondary system.
