Mr and Mrs Melvin Bratrud Miss Myrtle Allen and A J Duby spent Sunday at Joe Jackson home near Ruthven. Joe Gabrielson and Mrs Theo Olsen of Huron SD were guests at Joe Jackson home Sunday. O H Unteigh was a business visitor at Emmetsburg one day last week. Miss Lily Halverson returned from Mason City to spend Easter vacation while teaching at that price. Milwaukee depot in Emmetsburg was entered by thieves last week and $16.60 stolen. Mr Losey agent was home for dinner at the time. Mrs Theo Olson and son Melvin of Huron SD were guests from Saturday to Monday at the home of Mrs Olson’s parents Joe Gabrielson. John Jensen traveled from Jacksonville FL to visit mother and local relatives and friends. He is in good health after the trip from Jacksonville to Chicago by bus, a 55 hour ride with a 24 hour storm delay. Jensen plans a couple weeks in the jetty.

Miss Misabeth Spies returned from Minneapolis while Mrs. Mary Fenn visited Rodman relatives. A fire in Ringsted damaged a meat market truck but was contained. Various locals travel to Ames Spirit and Emmetsburg for visits and work. Hand's Park opens April 2 with German Band. Easter dances planned. Several residents face health battles with limited recovery hopes.

An advertisement claims three glasses of water plus Adlerika and glycerin aid digestion. It asserts quick relief from gas and sour stomach within ten minutes and constipation relief within two hours, attributed to a Frick Drug Store promotion.
Jury Discharges End Term With No Cases
The petit jury members were discharged last week as no jury cases arose during this court term. Mr and Mrs G G Coolidge returned from Estherville and occupy their city home. Mrs Hiram Bennett arrived from Woodland Illinois Tuesday morning to visit her nephew W I Stevens and family.
