Lloyd Carney aged 21 died Tuesday morning at his parents home after a three week pneumonia battle. Cancer of the leg surfaced last fall leading to Mayo Clinic consults in Rochester. Funeral Sunday at 10 a.m. Catholic church with high Requiem Mass. bearers named. Survived by parents, four brothers, and many friends in Emmet County and Graettinger area.

Jorstad Hardware reported heavy bidding on new and used machinery, with bidders from north of Emmetsburg present.
