Alvin Hanson son of Mr and Mrs J B Hangen of Graettinger left Graettinger Memorial Day to join the navy. He is now stationed with the American naval forces in Paris France after time at the Philadelphia navy yard. He trained in Norfolk Virginia and sent a card dated February 28. Lawrence Moliton of Graettinger, also in the naval service, met him in Paris. The Paris weather was mild and warm at that time.
