Bachelor club program sparks debate on immigration veto
About 50 attendees at the Bachelors club Saturday enjoyed a program including an immigration bill veto debate. Art Bergum, A. H. Cameron, W. L. O Connor and M. Weinholzer spoke for the affirmative. Nefstead, Simonsen and Bolstad for the negative. W. M. Rauschmayer offered a comic song, and A. J. Anderson read Uncle Ramus. Rauschmayer also served an oyster stew becoming a local highlight. The next program is set for March 24.

My and Mrs Sam Roseland attended the Lutheran meeting in Ottosen this week. Miss Bulah Sandvick visited Mrs Wm Riaskussen Sunday. Mr Sheffield and family spent Tuesday evening at Nes Matson home. Mr and Mrs Henry Clemen ce moved to Emmetto rental. Mrs Berdin has been sick. The Sheffield family and Ole Petersons spent Sunday with friends Hauge and daughter. Martin Knutson and sisters Christina and Anna visited Nes Matson. News is scarce this week and few travelers noted.
