Lyle Neitzell son of My Neitzell, a workkeeper at I W Doughty’s Bank in Armstrong, drowned Tuesday evening two miles southwest of Armstrong while swimming near Hoppus bridge. The river was very high and the body had not yet been found. Four companions from near Halfa—Young, Fangeatad, Johnson, and Nord—were with him at the time.
A Greek laborer named Charles Christof drowning while working on the Milwaukee railroad at Spencer is reported. The body of Harry Nelson, the boy drowned at Spencer Friday evening, was recovered after drifting about 400 feet down Stoney Creek.
The death of Mrs. C C Larsen occurred Thursday evening after a long illness. Funeral services were at the Walnut Danish church with Reverends Cuthbert and Simonsen officiating. She leaves a husband Charles, eight living children, and several grandchildren, with a community widow’s sympathy offered.

A young farmer Lester Hite was killed near Sherburn Minnesota when a Ford car with Miss Ells Tennhoff at the wheel rolled after hitting a rough spot. The vehicle mounted a curb, threw Tennhoff out, and pinned Hite beneath the car while its glass ripped injuries across his body leading to death. Three of Hite’s male companions had been riding near the town after a dance when the tragedy occurred late Friday night.
A man named Tlute was trapped under a car after it fell. He asked for a doctor and telegraphed his family, but died after being taken to a doctor's home. The young woman hurt earlier summoned help, and the funeral was held today. He leaves a wife two children and a mother.
