The Hon. Robert Healy of Fort Dodge will speak at a patriotic demonstration in Emmetsburg on Friday night June 22. An outdoor address with a parade beforehand is planned, featuring A R veterans, Boy Scouts, and others. All registered men are urged to attend, with Graettinger sending a large delegation. Cars should meet at the Opera House at 7 o’clock and travel in a body to Emmetsburg.

Mr and Mrs H B Moraine and Mr and Mrs E H Moraine were summoned to Guthrie Center Iowa by telegram announcing the death of the Moessra Moraine's father. The cause and details were not given and the death came as a shock. Graettinger friends extend sympathy. An ice cream social will be held Tuesday June 26 one mile east of South Vernon church at T A Calaway home. Everyone welcome.
