B F Robinson living six miles south of Grachtinger helped the Times editor and family after their Overland four by four slid into a ditch near Robinson hill during a rain storm. Robinson, an experienced auto mechanic, located the ignition trouble and sent them on their way after sheltering them in his home. A stray cat from Timersburg assisted in the stranded group and required help from Robinson.

Des Moines Team Seeks Paulsen For Western League

Grading Contracts Let Last Week
The board of supervisors of Palo Alto county let several grading contracts. About 100000 yards of grading on the road between Emmetsburg and Cylinder and from the pavement to the Pocahontas. One was let to the Shipman Construction Company of Sioux City for 24.2 cents per yard.
