Public hearing on Graettinger electric plant improvements
Board of Trustees of the Municipal Electric Light and Power Plant Graettinger Iowa will hold a hearing on July 1 1946 at 2 PM at Town Hall to consider plans specifications and contract forms for improvements to the plant and to receive bids. The work includes building reconstruction diesel engine equipment switchboard and plant wiring sections 1 2 3 with combined bids preferred. Bids due with security bond five percent. Payment from electric revenue bonds no tax. Sections 4 and 8 partial monthly payments and final ninety percent on acceptance. Construction priority and delivery dates to be considered. Right to reject bids waiver of informalities. Iowa preference rules apply.
