Mrs Niels Jensen Dies at Home After Illness

Mrs Niels Jensen passed away Friday morning at her home in the city after a fall illness marked by strokes and high blood pressure. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at two o'clock at the residence and then at St Pauls Lutheran church with the pastor presiding.

Results list Reeves out. many bouts featured technical knockouts and close decisions, with multiple weight classes including 126, 122, 125 and 136 pounds. A future program is planned for June 23 as new boxers enter the ring.

Bridget Nolan and Lawrence Smith Married

Bridget M Nolan and Lawrence G Smith united in marriage at Immaculate Conception church Tuesday morning June 9 at eight. Rev Father Kelly officiated. Nun Sister of Mrs Duffy Receives Religious Vows

Mrs J J Duffy of this locality attended a Mount Loretta reception in Dubuque on Thursday June 4. The ceremony began at 6 a.m. and concluded with the archbishop of Dubuque leading six priests. Father Slowey of Lawler, a Mrs Duffy cousin, assisted. Three novices were received, two nuns professed, and two took final vows, one being Sister Mary Daniel formerly Celia O'Brien. A noon reception followed the morning services.

A Cadillac carrying gypsy women toured towns Tuesday afternoon stopping at businesses to seek a doctor. In Grachtinger they encountered Marshal Blam, but the ladies did not pass on fortunes and left without medicine.

Palo Alto County 4-H girls outline Rally Day events at Emmetsburg High School on Friday June 26. Mrs Cahill Dead Funeral Held Monday

Mrs. Mary Cahill of Palo Alto county dies after weeks of illness. Born in Wisconsin in 1863 she married Edward Cahill in 1881. he died in 1898. She leaves son John of Emmetsburg, four brothers and five sisters, with Graettinger mourners noting her Christian fortitude. Funeral held Monday morning.

Death of Charles Barringer in North Dakota

D C Barringer of Graettinger mourns the death of his father Charles Barringer who died at Ruse North Dakota Monday noon. Burial will be in North Dakota. The deceased long resided in Palo Alto county and owned a farm southwest of Graettinger. He moved with his family to North Dakota twenty five years ago and is survived by his wife seven sons and four daughters. Sons include D C Barringer Graettinger Paul Arthur Emmetsburg Ray George Berdell North Dakota Vernie Idaho. Daughters include Mrs William Hermansen southwest of Graettinger Mrs Harvey Brown Ruthven Hazel Minneapolis and Maule North Dakota. The community extends sympathy.

Fire Loss In Terril Shoe Shop

The Broviak shoe and harness shop at Terril was gutted by flames in the early hours Sunday. Firefighters saved the building, though contents were damaged. Mr. Broviak rescued his two sons and notified authorities after discovering the fire. Mrs. Broviak and baby were away in Minnesota. The building belonged to Frank Hildreth. the business had operated in Terris for just over two years. Two prisoners escaped Spencer jail by spreading their cell bars. Ben Middlestead and Howe and Haug, each sentenced to 100 days for assaulting officers.
