A section of the Town Buttermakers association met in Graettinger with about a dozen members. Prof Brunner of Ames spoke on butter scoring. The Lost Island and Graettinger creameries valued at four dollars, Lone Rock at 98, were noted. Mrs Henry Hansen entertained the accompanying Indies while her husband presided. Legion Show Draws Crowd At Hawkeye Theatre
The American Legion presented The Pull Of Babylon at Hawkeye theatre Tuesday evening with strong attendance. Patrons praised the show though receipts barely covered expenses leaving the group without profit for the night. The Burtlenan orchestra provided music for the show and the following dance.

Obscured view by freight cars prompted timely braking, saving the trio after a near-miss at the front of the machine.
